Bryana Kappadakunnel
Parent Yourself First
Parent Yourself First shows why real behavior change starts with the grown-up's nervous system, not the child's. Drawing from infant and early childhood mental health, Bryana Kappadakunnel, LMFT, teaches reflective functioning, co-regulation, and the 6 Seeds of Connection: Attunement, Curiosity, Co-Regulation, Playfulness, Reflection, and Repair. Attendees will learn a practical pause routine, body-based check-ins, curiosity scripts that de-escalate power struggles, and a simple repair roadmap after ruptures. Ideal for parents and caregivers of toddlers through tweens, as well as educators, therapists, and coaches. All experience levels welcome, especially those seeking a compassionate, evidence-informed path to raising confident, connected kids.

Thank you I loved you The child’s braid connection and how we do have to follow a lot on to child . Six seeds. I loved how you talked about the six seeds of connection for the children. That’s so important and I will use that connection in my classroom. Thank you!
Thank you, Bryana, for your talk. I enjoyed part 1 and part 2 and how to be brought them together with the principles of connection without expectation. I also enjoyed how you described seed and how to grow them. A parent we all have baggage we need to heal from and work together with our children to bring resilience and healthy connections.
