Becoming an Authentic Montessori Teacher: A Journey of Growth and Discovery

In this interactive live presentation Tim will explore the essential elements that define genuine Montessori education in today's world. Drawing from Maria Montessori's foundational work, he will discuss how Montessori educators can create welcoming, inclusive environments while balancing developmental guidance with fostering natural curiosity. The conversation will emphasize how Montessori education extends beyond academics to support children's mental health and personal growth. Special attention will be given to the critical role of the educator's own spiritual preparation and continuous self-development. Throughout the presentation, Tim will explore how we can honor Montessori's legacy while meeting modern educational needs. This talk will be valuable for both new and experienced Montessori educators seeking to deepen their practice.

  1. Deepali Kudchadkar says:

Thank you so much Mr.Tim Seldin for a wonderful speech. Being a Montessorian for last 21 years, I do agree with one thing that Montessori is a real journey who teaches a directress to struggle for their students selflessly. There are lots of hurdles but when you work without any expectation from a child, the journey becomes more fun and interesting each day. We should not look for picture perfect child or a school. It is not a show off. It is hard work of creating their beautiful mind and a good human being.
    Thank you.
