Helle Heckmann
Helle Heckmann is a mother of three, grandmother of six, and an accomplished educator with a background in cultural geography. In 1987, she founded Nøkken, a Steiner/Waldorf-inspired kindergarten for young children. With over 27 years of experience as an educator, counselor, and pedagogue, Helle has become a global advocate for outdoor play and early childhood development.
Over the past 11 years, she has worked internationally as an educational consultant, conducting workshops, parent seminars, and training for kindergartens worldwide. An esteemed author, Helle has published seven books and numerous articles, focusing on toddlers and the vital role of parents in early childhood.
