Have you ever had a full night’s sleep and woke up still feeling exhausted? Do you lie in bed at night unable to shut off your mind? Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by sounds and lights? If so, you might be experiencing a rest deficit! Heather White, Ed.S., M.Ed., NCSP, is a Montessori educational coach and content creator. She works in several capacities with adult learners working to receive their Montessori certification from The Center for Guided Montessori Studies and is an adjunct professor and the Director of Academic Projects for Sarasota University. She is AMS credentialed at the 3-6 and 6-9 age groups and also has experience with children ages 0-3 and 9-12 as a Montessori in-home caregiver, assistant classroom teacher, and tutor. She has received certification in Anti-Bias, Anti-Racism from AMS and nationally as a Montessori Coach from the National Center for Montessori in the Public Sector. Heather has found immense joy over the last two decades in guiding classroom educators, administrators, parents, and caregivers to better understand the Montessori Method in an effort to continue utilizing its wonder in their work with children. At times we need to do things differently and reflect on the area that needs to be refreshed or build up.
